Which workflows should you automate first?

How the scoring works

Each workflow is scored on 5 criteria (1–5 scale). The automation potential score is a weighted composite:

• Volume (20%): Higher-volume workflows yield more savings when automated.
• Repetitiveness (25%): The more predictable the steps, the easier to automate reliably.
• Error Rate (15%): Error-prone workflows benefit most from consistent automation.
• Data Quality (20%): Structured, digital data is much easier to process automatically.
• Business Impact (20%): Prioritize automations that meaningfully move revenue, cost, or capacity.

The total score (out of 100) maps to a verdict:

• 75–100: 🟢 Strong automation candidate — start here
• 50–74: 🟡 Worth exploring — may need process improvements first
• Below 50: 🔴 Low priority — focus on higher-impact workflows first

Note: This is a prioritization tool, not a feasibility assessment. Some high-scoring workflows may have technical complexities that require deeper scoping. The goal is to give you a starting shortlist — not a final answer.
